We had a dead tree taken down on the back forty last week.
My wife asked me if I would build her a "gnome house".
She's happy, and my scrap wood pile is pretty much decimated, which makes me happy.
Now its time to do some fishing.

With the onset of the pandemic, and moved by the bleakness of the times, he turned his attention to depicting the remains of old barns throughout the north country. The grayness of the weathered barn-wood led him to simplify his palette to black and white, concentrating strictly on value to capture mood. His foray into black and white continues into other subject matter, but is frequently interrupted with a more colorful palette.
