A New Favorite

Bonus Day
You've got to love the bonus days. Those days that the weatherman tells you it's going to rain, it's going to be nasty, and then...
It's turns out nice. That's a bonus day. That's good.
How do you end it? No problem...
When I got up this morning and went out on the deck and sat down with my coffee, I knew it was going to be one of those days. Calm, not a leaf moving. It was supposed to be raining. Check of the radar...nothing. Nice. An hour passes, still there. Should be on the river...
Sometimes you got to sit and soak it in.

Fawn and Fins on the West Branch
Normally fish get top billing here, but this was quite a sight.
A fawn nestled in the underbrush on the bank of the West Branch of the Ausable.
