When It Rains

Some (OK...alot) of well needed rain rolled through and ruffled the feathers of our river float.
We ended up on Third Connecticut Lake. Tough fishing. Our guide, Greg, rowed his arms off searching for fish that weren't being cooperative, while I demonstrated my complete inability to throw a sinking line and my wife Susie (along with Greg's Cocker Springer Spaniel, Maggie) held down the back seat. Lots of funny stories, Hank Patterson quips, and something we least expected...

No such thing as a bad day fishing.

  1. "No such thing as a bad day fishing" - very, very true! Especially when in the midst of good company.
